“I’ve gone through my fair share of ‘bargain’ supermarket fire pits that rust through after one winter, so I decided to finally invest in something decent. After seeing the FirepitsUK Plain Jane at Lindsey Garden Products, I took the plunge—and I am so glad I did.

The first thing you notice is the weight. This isn’t flimsy tin; it’s thick, 3mm British steel that feels like it could survive an apocalypse. I bought the 60cm version, and it’s the perfect size for a family of four, plus a few friends.

The Swing Arm is a total game-changer. I’ve never been a fan of traditional BBQs where the food just sits there burning while you try to move logs around. With this, you just swing the grill out of the way, sort your fire, and swing it back in. The rack itself is half-grill and half-solid plate, which is genius—I’ve done steaks on the bars and full English on the plate at the same time.

The best bit is all the accessories you can add to it. I’ve invested in the Swinging Hook and used it for legs of lamb on Christmas Day!”

Sliding easily into our fire pit lugs, our Smoking Plank holder positions a wooden board over your fire pit, and the stainless steal clamp holds your fish fillet into place as it gently cures in the smoke. Our holder is made from high quality British steel and has three different positions so that you can decide the perfect angle to suspend your fish over your fire. There is a groove to channel juices away from the flames in order to avoid the flare-ups which can wreak havoc on your smoked salmon. The board is easily replaceable if it becomes too charred.
